Sintered ferrite magnet is availabe in isotropic and anistropic type. Isotropic ferrite magnet has same magnetic properties in all directions, the strength is lower and can be magnetized in all directions or multi poles. Anisotropic ferrite magnet has better magnetic properties comparing with isotropic ferrite, but this type of magnet can only be magnetized in a prefered direction.
Sintered ferrite magnet can be used at from -40 degree to 200 degree, the mechanical property of ferrite is hard and brittle, they can be cut by diamond tools.
Since the raw material of ferrite magnet is oxide, it will not be rusted under severe environment not affected by many chemicals(except by some strong acids).
